10 Day Kenya Wilderness Safari
Our 10 Day Safari will bring you to some of the most visually stunning locations in Kenya. You'll visit Aberdare National Park, Mt. Kenya National Park, the Samburu Game Reserve, Lake Baringo, Lake Nakuru National Park, and the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Get ready to see plenty of wildlife, including the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhinoceros), while taking in the gorgeous Kenyan vistas!
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI
Once you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, we will take you to the Osoita Lodge just outside the city, situated next to Nairobi National Park. The rest of your day will be spent relaxing and preparing for your safari.
DAY 2: NAIROBI TO ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK
We will depart Nairobi for Aberdare National Park. We will travel to the Aberdare Country Club, nestled on the slopes of Mweiga Hill. After lunch and tea/coffee, we will set off for the Ark Tree Lodge, located in the forests of the Aberdare Mountains. The lodge offers high altitude game viewing of animals rarely seen, such as the giant forest hog, bush pig, tree hyrax, large spotted genet, and the elusive bongo. There will also be opportunities to look for more common wildlife, such as elephants, leopards, and lions. Your dinner and overnight will be at the Serena Mountain Lodge.
DAY 3: SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
In the morning, we will be traveling to Kenya's northern frontier. Wild and rugged, Samburu is home to unique wildlife species found only north of the equator. We will stop at the lovely Uaso Nyiro River to look for the reticulated giraffe, Grévy's zebra, and the East African oryx. At lunch, you will enjoy either the Larsen's Tented Camp or the Samburu Intrepid Camp, situated on the banks of the river beneath of canopy of acacia trees. Your dinner and overnight will be at the Samburu Serena Lodge.
DAY 4: SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
Your morning wlil begin scanning the bush from the veranda with a hot cup of tea or coffee in hand. From there, we'll be off in search of elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs who thrive in Samburu's arid environment. After a full day of wildlife exploration, we will return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: MOUNT KENYA SAFARI CLUB
Today's destination is the lovely Mt. Kenya Safari Club. The club has a storied history, and all the amenities you would expect from an elegant establishment, including scenic views of Mt. Kenya, horse stables, golf, trout streams, tennis, a sauna, and fine dining. Your stay will include your dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: LAKE BARINGO
We will drive via Nyahururu Falls to Lake Baringo, with an en-route picnic lunch. In the evening, you will be taken on a birding nature walk. Your dinner and overnight will be at the Lake Baringo Club.
DAY 7: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
We will head to Lake Nakuru National Park, located in the Great Rift Valley. After lunch, you will be taken out on a game drive. The park is home to a plethora of wildlife, including a massive number of lesser and greater flamingos. It is also home to the endangered white rhino and rare Rothschild giraffe. Your dinner and overnight will be at the Lake Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
DAY 8: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
We will drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara Reserve. Located on the northern extension to the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, the Mara is famously known for its spectacular wildebeest migration. It's also home to the big five and a host of other wildlife species. We will have lunch at the lodge and relax before our afternoon game drive. Your dinner and overnight will be at the Sarova Tented Camp.
DAY 9: DISCOVER MASAI MARA
Today will be a full day exploring the Mara. We will also have the optional opportunity of visiting a local Maasai village. Afterward, we will return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.
DAY 10: DISCOVER MASAI MARA
Today will be another full day exploring different areas of the Mara. Once finished, you will have plenty of time to relax and dine at the lodge.
DAY 11: NAIROBI
We will drive back to Nairobi. There will be opportunities for shopping downtown before dropping you off at the airport for your departure.

11 Day Kenya Wildlife Safari
Our 11 day Kenya wildlife safari is perfect for the nature enthusiast and wildlife photographer. You will visit Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Bogoria National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, the Masai Mara, and world famous Amboseli National Park. Your trip will also include the option of a balloon tour, walking safaris, and a visit to the Maasai manyattas.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your Fairway Safaris representative will take you to the Nairobi Hotel for your dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
We will drive through the central highlands to the northern Kenya's Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Your lunch and rest accommodations will be at the Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Ol Pejeta is East Africa's largest black rhino sanctuary, home to a healthy population of chimpanzees, and holds one of the highest predator densities in Kenya. After lunch, you will have an opportunity to relax before your game drive.
DAY 3: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
You will visit the chimpanzee sanctuary, followed by the black rhino sanctuary. Following lunch, you will take another game drive. Once finished, you will be taken back to camp for your dinner and overnight.
DAY 4: LAKE BOGORIA NATIONAL RESERVE
We will depart for Lake Bogoria National Reserve. You will arrive at Lake Bogoria Spa in time for lunch, and an opportunity to swim in their natural hot water pool. From there, your day will be spent exploring Lake Bogoria. It was J.W. Gregory, a geologist and explorer, who first set his eyes on the lake in 1892. He described it as the most, "beautiful view in Africa." Game is plenty and includes greater kudu, buffalo, zebra, cheetah, baboon, warthog, caracal, spotted hyena, impala and dik dik. After your game drive, you will return to the spa for your dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
We will drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. After lunch and leisure time, we will take a game drive in the park, which is home to pink flamingos, many other bird species, black and white rhinos, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Your dinner and overnight will be at the Flamingo Hill Camp.
DAY 6: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Today, we will head to the Masai Mara Game Reserve via Narok, the district headquarters of Maasailand. You will arrive in time for lunch at camp. Your afternoon will be spent resting with gorgeous views of the Mara. Your dinner and overnight will be at the Sarova Tented Camp.
DAY 7: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Located on the northern extension to the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, the Mara is famously known for its spectacular wildebeest migration. It's also home to the big five and a host of other wildlife species. Today will be a full game drive starting early. You will also have the option of a balloon safari, which can be arranged at an extra cost. Afterward, you will be taken to your lodgings for a sumptuous dinner and overnight.
DAY 8: LAKE NAIVASHA
We will drive to Lake Naivasha for your lunch. Of all Rift Valley bodies of water, Naivasha is the highest in elevation. It's also a bird watcher's paradise with over 450 species in the immediate area. The surrounding landscape is home to a variety of game including giraffe, buffalo, black-faced colobus monkeys, and hippos. Activities that can be arranged include hor-riding, bird watching, fishing, boat riding, and guided nature walks. Your dinner and overnight will be at one of the surrounding lodges.
DAY 9: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
In the morning, we will leave for Amboseli National Park, situated at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro. You will arrive in time for lunch. In the early evening, we will take a game drive to look for elephant, buffalo, lion, spotted hyena, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, impala, and many other animal species. Your dinner and overnight will be at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.
DAY 10: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Your day will start early with a morning game drive. Afterwards, we will retire to the lodge for a buffet breakfast. Later in the day, we will visit one of the Maasai manyattas. From there, we will go another game drive before your dinner and overnight.
DAY 11: DEPARTURE
From Amboseli, we will take you either to Nairobi or Mombasa for your return flight. We also offer an option of staying one extra day to visit the white sandy shores of Diani beach.

Today, we will head to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. You will arrive in time for lunch at camp. Your afternoon will be spent on a game drive in search of lions, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, wildebeest, baboons, leopards, cheetah, gazelles, black rhinos, hyenas, and many species of bird. Your dinner and overnight will be at the Sarova Tented Camp.

Amboseli is home to huge herds of elephants and the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro in neighboring Tanzania. Amboseli covers an area of 390 km2. Physical attractions are grassland savannah, and a plethora of wildlife including giraffes, cheetah, zebras, gnus, hyenas, buffalo, lions, and leopards, amongst others. Amboseli is also a birdwatcher's paradise.
DAY 7: TSAVO EAST & WEST NATIONAL PARKS
Tsavo East and West are part of the larger Tsavo ecosystem, making it the larges wildlife area in Kenya. With a stopover at Shetani Larva for photos, we will then proceed to Chyulu gate and begin our game drive at Mzima Springs. The spring produces over one million liters of water per day. Tsavo West covers an area of 9,065 km2. Physical attractions include Chyulu Hills, Ngulia Hills, Chimu Larva, Shetani Larva, and Mzima Springs. The landscape is dominated by savannah and acacia forests. Animals include elephants, buffalo, leopards, lions, black rhinos, giraffes, and zebras, amongst others. Your dinner and overnight will either be at the Ngulia Safari Lodge, the Rhino Valley Lodge, or the Kilaguni Serena.
DAY 8: TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK
Today will be another full day spent at Tsavo West National Park. Afterward, you will be taken to your lodge for your dinner and overnight.
DAY 9: DIANI BEACH
We will head to the beautiful beach side city of Mombasa. Your day will be spent at Diani Beach taking in the sights and sounds.
DAY 10: MOMBASA & DIANI BEACH
Today will be another full day in Mombasa, which will include a cultural tour, and leisure time spent at Diani Beach.
DAY 11: RETURN TO NAIROBI
We will return to Nairobi for your last overnight, which will be at the Osoita Lodge. Depending on the time, we may be able to explore Nairobi National Park just outside the city. Species found in the park include buffalo, black rhinoceros, Burchell's zebra, cheetah, Coke's hartebeest, Grant's gazlle, hippopotamus, leopard, lion, Thomson's gazelle, eland, impala, Masai giraffe, ostrich, vulture, and waterbuck.
DAY 12: NAIROBI TOUR & DEPARTURE
Depending on your departure time, your last day will include a Nairobi cultural tour. Afterward, we will take you back to the airport for your return flight.

DAY 11: RETURN TO NAIROBI
We will return to Nairobi for your last overnight, which will be at the Osoita Lodge. Depending on the time, we may be able to explore Nairobi National Park just outside the city. Species found in the park include buffalo, black rhinoceros, Burchell's zebra, cheetah, Coke's hartebeest, Grant's gazlle, hippopotamus, leopard, lion, Thomson's gazelle, eland, impala, Masai giraffe, ostrich, vulture, and waterbuck.
DAY 12: NAIROBI TOUR & DEPARTURE
Depending on your departure time, your last day will include a Nairobi cultural tour. Afterward, we will take you back to the airport for your return flight.
