4 Day Double Gorilla Trek
This safari takes you to the home of Africa's endangered mountain gorillas. Your trip will begin in downtown Kampala, followed by a dramatic change of scenery as you depart for rural Uganda heading for the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to half of the continent's great apes as well as a host of other primate and bird species.
DAY 1: ENTEBBE TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
You will be met at Entebbe airport by your guide and company representative. After a good night's rest in Kampala at the Namirembe Guest House, you will be driven to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in southwestern Uganda. There will be a rest stop at the equator for photo opportunities, a brief explanation of the area, and snacks. The en-route lunch will either be at the Agip Motel or the Regency Hotel in the town of Mbarara. From there, you will be driven through the beautiful terraced farmed countryside until you reach your stopping point. Your dinner and overnight will either be at the Gorilla Forest Camp or the Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge.
DAY 2: MOUNTAIN GORILLA TREK
There will be an early morning wake up. Afterward, you will be taken to the starting point of your trek. There will be a debriefing by the game rangers who will explain all of the rules before your trek begins. From there, you will be guided into the rainforests of Bwindi for your gorilla encounter. Please note that you should be in good physical condition, as the terrain in Bwindi requires a lot of vertical hiking. When your trek is over, you will be taken to a scenic spot to enjoy your lunch, which will be provided by the lodge. You will then be given an honorary certificate by the Ugandan Wildlife Authority. Finally, you will be taken back to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Your third day will be a similar experience. The difference, however, is that you will be visiting a new gorilla family in another area of the park. This can also be substituted for a guided nature walk to look for birds and other primates.

We will check out from the Safari Lodge and set off for Kampala. Your destination will either be the Laico Lake Victoria Hotel or the Protea Hotel in Entebbe for your dinner and overnight.

Depending on your flight schedule, there may be time to do a day tour of the city of Kampala. This includes lunch, a trip to the museum, a visit to the tombs of the kings of Buganda, and a stop at the Ugandan Martyrs Shrine. Afterward, you will be taken to the airport to for your return flight.

This affordable safari has it all. You'll have the opportunity to see Africa's mega-fauna (lions, elephants, leopard, buffalo, kob, topi, warthog, waterbuck, and others) in the scenic Queen Elizabeth National Park. You'll get the incredible experience of an up-close encounter with the mountain gorillas in the Bwindi Rainforest. You'll visit Lake Bunyonyi - Africa's deepest body of water. You'll be taken on a cultural tour of Kampala. And you'll see firsthand how your visit is helping improve local communities, and how they in turn support conservation.

Game drives are typically several hours in length, so there will be no shortage of game to see. Afterward, you'll be taken back to camp for a late breakfast, and some rest and relaxation. Afterward you will have the option of either an evening game drive followed by dinner, or just dinner. Please note that dinner will be later should you choose an evening game drive, where you might have the chance of seeing the elusive leopard. Your overnight will be at the Bush Lodge.

After breakfast, you'll go on the Kazinga Channel boat cruise where you will see a high population of elephants, hippo, crocodile, buffalo, baboons, kob, waterbuck, and various bird species. Dinner and overnight will be at the Bush Lodge.
DAY 4: DEPART FOR BWINDI WITH GAME DRIVE IN ISHASHA SECTOR TO LOOK FOR TREE CLIMBING LIONS
We will be taking a scenic road through the park to the Ishasha sector. Here you will embark on another game drive to spot Uganda's famous tree climbing lions. Afterward, we will be heading southwest through the terraced farmed countryside to the Bwindi Impenetrable Rainforest. Your dinner and overnight will be in Kisoro at the Mutanda Lake Resort or the Nkuringo Gorilla Camp.

DAY 7: SANGANZIRA COMMUNITY CONSERVATION EXPERIENCE
We are eager to show you how your visit is shaping conservation in Africa. After breakfast, we will take you to the village of Sanganzira, near the shores of Lake Victoria. Some of the school children, parents, and teachers will be there to give you a warm welcome. Here you will have a unique opportunity to hear from the faculty and see for yourself all the wonderful work being done because of your visit. You will even be invited to give a short speech, should you wish. Lastly, you will be given the opportunity to plant a mango tree in the village as a symbolic gesture of conservation commitment. Afterward, you will be taken back to the Namirembe Guest House for your dinner and overnight.
DAY 8: CULTURAL TOUR AND DRIVE TO THE AIRPORT FOR DEPARTURE

Our 11 day photo safari offers a variety of activities including rhinoceros tracking at our rhino sanctuary, sightseeing along the River Nile falls in Murchison Falls National Park, boat cruising, primate trekking, and visiting the Batwa people who live near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
DAY 1: ENTEBBE TO HOTEL
Upon your arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will meet your guide and then be taken to either the Laico Lake Victoria Hotel or the Protea Hotel. This will include your dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: ENTEBBE TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
We will embark to north-western Uganda via the Luwero-Nakasongola highway en-route to Murchison Falls National Park. On the way, we will stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhinoceros tracking. Your visit will help support rhino conservation, as they are an endangered species and not highly populous in Uganda. After lunch, we will head to the park with a stop at the top of the falls for a scenic view of the River Nile. Your stay will be at either the Chobe Safari Lodge, the Paraa Safari Lodge, the Nile Safari Camp, or the Murchison River Lodge, depending on your preference. This will include your dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: GAME DRIVE & BOAT RIDE
There will be an early wake up, followed by a scenic game drive in search of lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, and many other animal species. Afterward, we will return to the lodge for a late brunch, followed by a boat cruise on the River Nile at the bottom of Murchison Falls. Here you will have the opportunity to see a host of different wildlife, including a variety of bird species. Once completed, we will return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.

In the morning, we will take the ferry crossing to the southern end of the park. From there, we will drive to Kibale Forest National Park with an en-route lunch and a stop to see an incredible view of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. Your dinner and overnight will either be at the Ndali Lodge, the Kyaninga Lodge, or the Mountains of the Moon Hotel.
DAY 5: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING & BIGODI WALK
We will head out to the park headquarters for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking. Once completed, we will head into the forest in search of chimps, black and white colobus monkeys, vervets, red tailed, and mangabeys. Afterward, we will return to the lodge for lunch, followed by an evening walking safari in search of other birds like the shoe bill. Once finished, we will return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.

DAY 1: DRIVE TO NORTHEASTERN UGANDA
After flying into Entebbe, you will met by your safari guide. After a good night's rest in Kampala at the Namirembe Guest House, you will be driven northeast toward Kidepo Valley National Park. There will be stops along the way for photo opportunities, including visiting the Karamoja people. Our stopping point will be at Kitgum town. Your dinner and overnight will be at Fugly’s Guest House.
DAY 2: KITGUM TO KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
From Kitgum, we will drive to Kidepo Valley National Park. After check-in, we will go on your first evening game drive. Evening is a great time to see leopards, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators as they stalk their prey. When finished, we will retire to the Ng’amoru Wilderness Camp for your dinner and overnight.

Today will start with an early morning game drive. When finished, we will head back to the lodge for a late brunch. Later, we will have lunch, followed by an afternoon/evening game drive. We will depart Kidepo, heading west to Murchison Falls National Park with an en-route lunch. Your dinner and overnight will be at the Murchison River Lodge.

There will be an early wake up, followed by a scenic game drive in search of lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, and many other animal species. Afterward, we will return to the lodge for a late brunch, followed by a boat cruise on the River Nile at the bottom of Murchison Falls. Here you will have the opportunity to see a host of different wildlife, including a variety of bird species. When we get to the bottom of the falls, we will depart the boat and hike to the top for some unforgettable views of the delta as early evening approaches. Once completed, we will return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.

We will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park in the morning. We will stop at the Mountains of the Moon Hotel in Fort Portal Town for your dinner and overnight.
DAY 8: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK & KAZINGA CHANNEL
Once we arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park, we will go on the Kazinga Channel boat cruise where you will see a high population of elephants, hippo, crocodile, buffalo, baboons, kob, waterbuck, and various bird species. Dinner and overnight will be at the Bush Lodge.
DAY 9: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
You will have an early morning wake up call for your first game drive. Once inside the park, there will be plenty of opportunities to see the amazing wildlife and beautiful scenery, including the backdrop of the Rwenzori Mountains (also known as the Mountains of the Moon). Afterward, we will depart for the Ishasha sector to look for Uganda's famous tree climbing lions. Your dinner and overnight will be at the Ishasha Jungle Lodge.
DAY 10: EQUATOR VISIT & RETURN TO KAMPALA
We will drive back to Kampala with a stop at the equator for photo opportunities. We will have lunch in Mbarara town. Once in Kampala, we will check back into the Namirembe Guest House.

We are eager to show you how your visit is helping conservation in Africa. After breakfast, we will take you to the village of Sanganzira, near the shores of Lake Victoria. Some of the school children, parents, and teachers will be there to give you a warm welcome. Here you will have a unique opportunity to hear from the faculty and see for yourself all the wonderful work being done because of your visit. You will even be invited to give a short speech, should you wish. Lastly, you will be given the opportunity to plant a mango tree in the village as a symbolic gesture of conservation commitment. Afterward, you will be taken back to the Namirembe Guest House for your dinner and overnight.
DAY 12: KAMPALA TOUR, COCKTAILS ON LAKE VICTORIA, & FINAL DEPARTURE
Most flights out of Kampala don't leave until late in the evening. Incidentally, we want your last day in Uganda to be a special one! Your Kampala city tour will include lunch, a trip to the museum, a visit to the tombs of the kings of Buganda, and a stop at the Ugandan Martyrs Shrine. Afterward, you will be taken to Entebbe for a cocktail and dinner on the shores of Lake Victoria. Once finished, we will take you to the airport for your farewell journey.

Similar to the 11 day photo safari, this excursion is filled with wildlife sightings, chimpanzee and gorilla trekking, cultural visits, rhinoceros tracking, and guided nature walks. DAY 1: ENTEBBE TO HOTEL
Upon your arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will meet your guide and then be taken to either the Hotel Africana or the Cassia Lodge . This will include your dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: ENTEBBE TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
We will embark to north-western Uganda via the Luwero-Nakasongola highway en-route to Murchison Falls National Park. On the way, we will stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhinoceros tracking. Your visit will help support rhino conservation, as they are an endangered species and not highly populous in Uganda. After lunch, we will head to the park with a stop at the top of the falls for a scenic view of the River Nile. Your stay will be at either the Chobe Safari Lodge, the Paraa Safari Lodge, the Nile Safari Camp, or the Murchison River Lodge, depending on your preference. DAY 6: CHIMPANZEE HABITUATION
We will be venturing on an all-day chimpanzee habituation trek. Other creature encounters may include forest elephants, buffalo, bush pigs, different bird species, and other primates. Afterward, we will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight.

We will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park with an en-route stop for lunch. Once there, you will have the day to relax, followed by an evening game drive. Your dinner and overnight will either be at the Mweya Safari Lodge, the Katara Lodge, or the Bush Lodge.

We will be taking a scenic road through the park to the Ishasha sector. Here you will embark on another game drive to spot Uganda's famous tree climbing lions. Afterward, we will be heading southwest through the terraced farmed countryside to the Bwindi Impenetrable Rainforest. Your dinner and overnight will either be at the Mahogany Springs Lodge, the Gorilla Lodge, the Nkuringo Gorilla Camp or the Mutanda Lake Resort.
DAY 10: BWINDI MOUNTAIN GORILLA TREKKING
There will be an early morning wake up. Afterward, you will be taken to the starting point of your trek. There will be a debriefing by the game rangers who will explain all of the rules before your trek begins. From there, you will be guided into the rainforests of Bwindi for your gorilla encounter. Please note that you should be in good physical condition, as the terrain in Bwindi requires a lot of vertical hiking. When your trek is over, you will be taken to a scenic spot to enjoy your lunch, which will be provided by the lodge. You will then be given an honorary certificate by the Ugandan Wildlife Authority. On day 11, we will be visiting the Batwa pygmies in the Mgahinga forest. This will include cultural performances, a visit to the Garama Caves, and an insiders look at how they live in the forest. Once finished, we will return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.

DAY 14: WHITE WATER RAFTING AT JINJA
You will have breakfast and then prepare for white water rafting on the Nile rapids. Once finished, you will return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.
